Birth Doula - Cost £150 (+ expenses)

As your birth doula I would be with you in labour from as soon as you felt you needed me and would stay with you throughout until you and new baby are settled!

I would visit you at least once during your pregnancy to get to know you and discuss your wishes for the birth.

I would also be available to you via email and telephone to answer any questions, provide information and offer support.

I would make myself on call to you 2 weeks either side of your due date - so that whenever you may go into labour I will be available to you - around the clock!

I would also make a postnatal visit to you to debrief the birth, meet the new addition properly and see how you were getting on at home.

I may or may not stay on as your postnatal doula, depending on your requirements.

Post Natal Doula - Cost £10.00 per hour

As your postnatal doula, I am entirely flexible! How you wish to spend my time with you is up to you!

You may want me to do some light housework, prepare meals, deal with laundry, entertain other children, get some shopping in or put the kettle and have a chat about how things are going.

You will have the opportunity before the baby is born to let me know what you feel would be most beneficial for you.

Additional Services:

• Ironing Let me tackle that mountain of ironing! Who wants to iron at the best of times never mind when you have a brand new baby to get to know! I can deal with the laundry either at your home during my postnatal visits or can also offer a service where I take it away and delivery it folded and/or hung.
• Cleaning I can provide a cleaning service as part of my postnatal visits, or indeed as a stand alone service. Maybe you would like an extra pair of hands during your pregnancy and the early weeks or treat yourself to a "Nesting Spring Clean" to get the house cleaned top to toe in preperation for the new arrival!
• Cooking I can provide healthy, nutritious home cooked meals and treats - often when time or energy is short take away or convenience food is relied on at a time when good nutrition is optimal! Let me take the work out of feeding the family!
• Books & Resources I have many books and resources on Birth, Breastfeeding, Babies etc etc that as one of my clients you would be most welcome to make use of!
• Breastfeeding advice I can offer advice on breastfeeding if you would like to discuss your ideas and hopes for feeding your new baby. I can also put you in touch with local breastfeeding groups and provide information on breastfeeding counsellors who can often prove to be invaluable when establishing breastfeeding! I am also about to embark on training with the ABM to become a Mother Supporter.
• Childcare & Babysitting In addition to being a doula I am also an OFSTED registered childminder and have an enhanced CRB disclosure. I can take care of and entertain your older children, enabling you to get on with discovering your precious new bundle without worrying about the elder children feeling pushed out.
• I can also provide a babysitting service for you!
